What is Loft Insulation?
Loft insulation is a layer of insulating fabric that sits within the joists of the attic above your ceiling. Of all the types of insulation you could install in your home, this is perhaps the first, that most people think of and one of the simplest to install. Storing things in your loft and flatten your insulation over time, reducing it’s effectiveness and if you have sustained any roof leaks, this can also become damp.
Should this happen, you may need to replace your insulation.
